aku ada gps jenama lokatoo model a1000i, masalahnya, dr aku beli smpi skrg x leh guna pasai x dpt signal satelìt, bc manual suh update map, dah tp ngak bisa digunakan. Pasai apa ye? Ada jiwangers leh tlg den yg kekusutan ini?

cari satu padang, duduk tengah2... pastikan surrounding clear xde halangan and clear sky...

and then try on GPS... stay at the same spot at least 5min, tgk dpt lock satellite tak...

kalo x dapat, most probably it's a problem with the GPS receiver...

Hi. To pinpoint your location, you need to get signals from at least 4 satellites. In order to get the signals, the navigator must not be in a building, underground car park or in a tunnel. This is because in order to use a GPS device, it must have direct access to sky.

If you can't receive signals, please check the following:
a) Is your car windscreen heavily tinted?
b) Is your car's location being hindered by tall buildings or trees?

If the problem is none of the above, then please give a call to our Toll Free Customer Service Hotline at 1800 88 0308 for further assistance.

kelakar sungguh FAQ yg diberi
ikutkan, kalau tinted glass tebal mana pun
sangat tak patut GPS receiver tak boleh lock satelite

sekadar bertanya .. sebab info tak ada
pernah guna dalam keadaan cuaca cerah tak
sebab kalau very cloudy .. agak lambat sikit nak lock

aku guna Garmin & WayWay .. belum pernah datangkan masalah lagi
cuma WayWay agak lambat sikit nak lock satelite

first time aku guna trus dari keta dalam 11pg.. aku tunggu lebih 10 minit tak jugak lock nyer pun.. huhu...

boleh bok.. ada tinted yang reflect pd frequencies..
Metallic films boleh interfere RF and EM signals..
even skrg ada teknologi nano-ceramic films yg tidak akan
menganggu sophisticated electronics device dan GPS signal..

yg reflect semula frequencies
sebab kalau camtu .. henfon signals pun susah nak dapat

semua teknologi & features pada apa jua item .. memang akan ada
cuma secara am .. aku tak rasa ada yg selective dalam features2
sampaikan nak block frequency

tu aje

dan TS pun adalah nicezem
yg baru aje maklumkan tentang tinted film pada Pesona yg Proton bagi (ada pada thread lain)
jadi aku assume .. tinted film crystal clear tu .. rasanya tak patut bawa sebarang masalah
dalam penerimaan signal satelit

tapi kalau tersilap intepretion ..

tak ramai tp still ade kan... as far as we know (except bro bok yg dah tau siap2... hehe...) it might be the cause la... tp since we can eliminate that as possible cause, ak rs TS kene test in open/unblocked environment la...
