Some Symbian phones can be fully hacked (which means that you can install anything and switch off the capability restrictions completely), others can only be partially hacked with the HelloOx method, and some phones can not be hacked at all yet. Your hacking options depend on your phone model and firmware version.

Note: ROMPatcher patches and other tricks designed for Nokia phones will not necessarily work on Samsung phones. Anything beyond the ability to install unsigned programs is a bonus on a hacked Samsung.

UPDATE: You can now patch installserver.exe on new firmware too, so you can install programs on new phones with new firmware without having to sign them first.
